Ramon Alvarez

Ramon Alvarez is a 4-time Spanish Champion, the runner-up in the 2022 World Championship, and the European Champion of EMA World Athletics in Nordic Walking. He began practicing Nordic Walking in 2018 with the belief of using it as preparatory training for trail running. He became passionate about the discipline, which he considers a complete, challenging, and motivating sport.

Italian athlete Luigi Sesso, also part of Team Gabel, serves as a reference point for him. Among his recent races is the competition in Warsaw during the European Championship ONWF, where he secured the third place overall in the 5 km race.
